What is Protocol Builder?
Protocol Builder is a secure cloud based application that helps improve the quality and consistency of protocols to make internal and IRB review processes more efficient. It can be accessed on desktops, laptops, and iPads. It is available by subscription to single users and institutions of any size.

Protocol Builder is developed and powered by BRANY (Biomedical Research Alliance of New York), a leader in providing hospitals and medical schools IRB and clinical research support services.

How do I sign in?
If you’re signing in for the first time, click the registration link that was emailed to you and follow the instructions. If you can’t find the link, please call the Help Desk at 844-563-1042.
If you’ve already registered, click here to sign in with your email address and password. If you forgot your password, click the “Forgot Password?” link.
How do I download the iTunes App?
How can I get help using Protocol Builder?
There is a simple user guide available in the application, which you can access by clicking the Help icon in the top right corner of any screen. If you’re having technical issues, please call the Help Desk at 844-563-1042 from 9:00am – 6:00pm EST to PST, Monday through Friday.
How can I get trained on Protocol Builder?
We offer, at no cost, introductory and advanced Protocol Builder User Webinars every month. Each webinar runs approximately one hour including Q &A.
The introductory webinars are normally the third Friday of each month at 3:00PM ET and cover basic Protocol Builder creation, editing, collaboration and output.
The advanced webinars are normally the first Friday of each month at 3:00PM ET and cover topics areas such as use with residents & other new investigators, and using Protocol Builder Reference feature with sources such as PubMed and EndNote.
